• Don owns and operates Don Mann Photography as the principal shooter and works with others depending on the job.

Don most recently has been doing professional photography since 1980. Photography in capturing images of people showing their best has been one of his professional and personal passions. His photography career started with a Photography Course in college. Soon he was processing his own black and white images, and friends and family used his images to decorate their homes. He became expert in documentary, reportage, lifestyle, home/garden, candid, industrial and scientific styles, along with event coverage and nature.

Now Don helps people improve their lives and businesses with positive experiences and effective marketing imagery. He loves capturing people in real moments. A successful senior executive and professional marketer in major corporations, Don came out of retirement when he learned how to make images where people look approachable, competent, and trustworthy to be the business answer viewers need. This builds powerful positive first impressions and encourages teamwork during and after the sale.

• Don uses top-level, professional Canon cameras and lenses, and Westcott and Profoto lighting systems. Don uses natural light, strobes and continuous/constant lighting, depending on the situation and the results desired.

Don is a scientist by training and a corporate businessman and marketer by profession. Photography has always been one of his professional and personal passions. He then applies this expertise to working with you to produce expressive, confident, and enticing headshots. Don's portfolio was competitively reviewed and Don was selected to join Peter's shooting team.

Don is in association with the World's Best Headshot Photographers, which is led and mentored by Peter Hurley of NYC. Peter is considered the world's best headshot photographer, and developed the Peter Hurley Style of Headshot (PH-Style) for subjects.

This style maximizes image approachability and confidence to maximize image lookability - the ability to secure the positive attention of the viewer with the attitude that the person is likable and capable of delivering what is needed in the best way possible, so the viewer wants to meet and work with the person.
